Sick on my birthday!

Happy Birthday Elvis!

So, my birthday was a few days ago--and the picture here is to let you know that Elvis and I have birthdays that are a day apart--and on my big day, I was up early in the morning, losing my breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was about as fun as it sounds. Luckily, I had already gone out for dinner with my boyfriend over the weekend, so I feel like I got in my birthday time then.

But still, it sucked.

It's time for a PHOTO SHOOT!!!

As some of you may or may not have noticed, Liquid Lunch Pocast has been quiet over the holidays and that's not just because we were too lazy to do anything for it. Oh no, the LLP elves (me and Wayne Ford) have been hard at work coming up with ideas for the podcast for 2008. This includes, some technical upgrades, (which is Wayne's work, really) and the razzle-dazzle that comes with a photo shoot. Woo hoo! As for the concept, I've purchased Wayne a bottle of the Limited Edition Absolut Vodka Disco Ball Bottle. OK, I'm not sure if that's the exact name, but can't you just feel how FABULOUS it is? I plan on wearing tons of make-up--we're talking drag queen levels of mascara and liner and some black, of course. It's a new year, a new podcast and a new Lisa and Wayne Ford. You're going to love it.

I'm so over dentistry

I had my second root canal today at the Beverly Hills dental office, where my endodontist is located. What's the benefit of going to a dental office on Beverly Hills, you might be wondering? Well, my friends, it's totally customary to see signed headshots of those stars who have patronized the office prior to your not-quite-as-illustrious visit. And goshdarnit, if my doctor's good enough for Engelbert Humperdinck, Liz Taylor and Wayne Newton, then he's good enough for me!

Root canals really don't hurt as much as I thought--at least mine didn't--but they only gave me local anesthesia, so it was really just incredibly boring and uncomfortable. I wish there were TV screens on the ceiling. Or on the insides of my eyelids. Yes, that would have helped the experience some. All in all, though, it was not horrible, even though, I still require a crown and a filling. The crown's just cause I'm so incredibly diva, so that's kind of my own fault.
