She's Back

Yeah, for those of you who thought I fell off the face of the Earth... I'm back. It's been such a hectic few months, what with moving into college and not having watched a single episode of anything remotely interesting since I've been here. I feel like I abandoned this site... which I end up doing a lot to sites. Why, I have no freaking idea. It just happens.

So, NUMB3RS. It seems to be the cool thing to talk about. I just have no words, it was so amazing.

This is an entry to confirm I am back.

July 30, 2007

As promised, a real blog entry. Maybe a little short, but a real entry.

So, yesterday was a nutty day. My sister went to work early in the morning, so I was all alone at home until about 4. Everyone knows that I was on OLC all day long. What else would I do, duh? I also read fan fiction. It really was nice to have some time alone.

So then I went to the baseball game. My team lost, and that’s okay, but I also didn’t miss any major league games… because my team wasn’t playing. Anyway, I got the manager’s autograph. Which was really cool, because he grew up in the area, and he used to be a major league player. And a color analyst for the local sports station, therefore making him a local sports hero.

The boys at the games are hot. All of the players are under 23 years old, which makes me attracted to them. They are pretty hot. In case it wasn’t mentioned before.

Anyway, I move into school in exactly a month. Well, 30 days… but still. Anyway, I have to do a lot of stuff before then, like downsize what’s in my room to fit in a forced triple. Yeah, not fun, but hey, I have one nice roommate, who’s to say I won’t have two?

I have to put my medical records in an envelope now, to send to the college. Ah, I’ll do it after I watch NUMB3RS. Which reminds me of Lola, who I miss, and I also miss Lorelai90, who is coming back TOMORROW!!! I wish I had magical admin powers to change the banner temporarily to a “Welcome Back” banner… ah I’ll figure out a good welcome back present for both her and Lola.

"Keg! Max!"`

This one’s all about “Keg! Max!”… my sister says the fight in this one is wimpy compared to the O.C. but who cares? Anyway, I swear you’ll get a real blog entry, after I do this.

1) Rory and Lorelai can’t figure out what to do about their lack of Friday Night Dinner situation. They don’t have anything to do… and the Gilmores are partying.
2) Lorelai and Rory are at Luke’s, and Lorelai is in love with her camera, Digital Dan! Rory passes a Chilton note telling Lorelai to participate. Lorelai takes a picture of Luke, and then the menu. I totally did the same thing when I got my camera!
3) Lane and the band can’t figure out a name for the band. Follow Them to the Edge of the Desert is cool, but way too long. And plus the abbreviation is a tongue twister. I’d do that.
4) Luke’s butt is the topic of conversation at the inn, and Lorelai offers to help Luke out with his plans with Nicole for the weekend. And the butt conversation is rather amusing. I think he has a nice butt. Just for the record.
5) The Booster Club has three new members, and it’s funny, because they all got the “scary threatening letter”… and when you’re late, that means you get stuck into things. Lorelai talks about the meeting with Sookie the next day, wearing a really cute hat. Anyway, Max was the faculty guy and that was slightly awkward, but they both played it cool. Lorelai is confused by that. I would be, too.

"Happy Birthday, Baby"

The second-to-last commentary today. Haha, by the end of the day, I will have seen 5 episodes of Gilmore Girls. Sweet. This one’s “Happy Birthday, Baby.”

1) Richard is serving his grandmother’s specialty, Johnny Machete. Well, anything with the word Machete in it should be… rather interesting. Rory breaks the news to the grandparents, who are really freakishly quiet… until they finally cave. I like Lorelai’s necklace in that scene.
2) Lorelai’s freaking out about the inn, until Tobin shows up, much to Michel’s chagrin. See, Tobin’s entertaining. I love Tobin. But if it were to come down to Michel and Tobin, I’d pick Michel. Tobin gives Lorelai a cappuccino scented candle, which Lorelai loves. The heat is on.
3) Lorelai goes through the house, allowing Rory to make a list for Luke… who has offered his services for 5 hours of handiwork for Lorelai’s birthday… and Rory wants Luke to make her a floral bookshelf. I can only imagine. But the sweet thing is that Luke will do everything on the list.
4) “Birthday Week”… a great concept. I really think that I’m going to use that concept. They have plenty of exciting things planned, especially Sephora! I love Sephora!

"A Tale of Poes and Fire"

This one’s, as promised, “A Tale of Poes and Fire”

1) Rory and Lorelai are harassed by Kirk when he prints daily T-shirts about what everyone’s doing. Luke hears Rory got into Harvard, Princeton, and Yale, and he hugs her, awkwardly. I noticed that Rory was called “our” Rory to Luke. She quickly adds “Stars Hollow” Rory, but I totally believe that Rory is “their” Rory. Luke has been there for Rory every time she’s needed it.
2) The cat (Papaya) won’t eat out of the dish, so Sookie attempts to show the cat how to eat. I totally would do the same thing, and I’m most definitely not pregnant… I’m an extreme cat person. Lorelai’s Poe jokes are good, and I totally got every single one. I actually paid attention in Lit class.
3) Luke goes to Jess’s little Employee Of the Month ceremony… and mocks the sentimentality of the situation. The manager tells Luke that Jess has been working 40 hours, and Luke seems quite confused. I love confused Luke.
4) Lorelai is mocking the improvisational comedy scene, much like “Whose Line”… 1000 points to Lorelai! And Luke’s hair looks exceptionally nice in this episode. Very attractive. And the leather jacket is also very flattering. Luke is very good looking when he dresses up!
