The Latest Hollywood Trend

Hollywood is the trendsetter in this country. A current trend coming out of Hollywood targeted at women is the DUI. According to California state law it is unlawful for any person who is under the influence of any alcoholic beverage or drug, or under the combined influence to drive a vehicle. It is also, unlawful for any person who has 0.08 percent or more, by weight, of alcohol in this or her blood to drive a vehicle.

Stars and DUIs have become a topic of our daily conversation. In the past year alone some of the biggest names in the biz have been arrested. On a recent episode of E’s Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Khloe is arrested for a DUI. We all remember the headlines of Lindsay Lohan’s DUIs. And who can forget about best friends Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie. These young women are the role models for many young girls out. Currently their example is something not to follow.

According to information provided by the organization MADD the following statistics have been provided:
• In 2006, 17,602 people died in alcohol-related traffic crashes nationally
• Alcohol-related crashes kill almost 50 people a day – one death every 31 minutes (that means one person dies for every episode of The Simple Life)

Lindsay is my hero

She did it again, but at least this time she is not drinking under age. Her attorney says she is relapsing, but I don't think she ever actually recovered. I think she is trying to break free of her good girl image, because she is defintely doing just that. Mothers no longer want their daughter to be like Lohan. And she must be doing something to her career. Lindsay was suppose to appear on the Tonight Show, this evening, however not anymore. She probably needs to catch up on missing sleep.

I also wonder, how does an alcohol-detection ankle bracelet work? Can it smell? Does it know when she is walking into a bar? This girl is in need of serious health. Didn't she learn anything from Paris Hilton? Wait I get it the new trend in Hollywood is to see how many times you can get arrested and not go to jail for your charges. Finally a light bulb has gone off in my head.

I wish I was them and that I could go out get drunk, chase someone around in a car and be able to post $25,000.00 bail in the morning to go home and take a nap. Oh well, for right now I guess I will have to just worry about how much debt I have from college.

I want to be a celebrity

I am becoming a Socialite

So I figured since I am off to play in the city of New York I am in need to become famous. Because as we all know I can get a little out of control. And since I like to have a good old time I think if I become a celebrity then I can get a way with anything. My new heros are going to be Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lo.Lindsay is not even 21 yet and she does it all. She is getting a DUI but probably not. At least I don't have to drive anymore so I don't really have to worry about that I guess. But if I do get a DUI I would love to be able to blame not knowing if I have a license and blame my publicist. The first rule of being a celebrity is to never take responsibility for ones own actions, find someone else to blame because I am the shit and if I wanted to get away with murder I think I could. So I must go and do my hair and look at myself in the mirror and have a few cocktails before I go and new in my new BMW or something. Love you all. Kiss. Kiss. I think I can do this. After all I did just graduate college. And if Paris and Lindsay can do it, I totally can.
