GREEK on ABC Family

I started watching this show called Greek cause it had some Animal House overtones. Now I'm totally sucked in. It's like a Popular/Nerd, pop culture reference, diamond in the rough show. I love it!!! They already mentioned my dear departed Gilmore Girls in passing and they like to throw out other Pop Culture references as well. I hope it lasts but it's on a non network so who knows. I will just have to keep my fingers crossed!

Emmy Awards and why I do not like them

Lauren Graham was overlooked for Emmy consideration yet again. This is beyond crap. Her work as Lorelai Gilmore was dead on and showed her fine acting skills. I can not for the life of me ever watch the EMMYS again as they must be the most ignorant individuals on the planet. =0P

Scott Patterson - AKA Luke Danes

Here is some good news I just read about Scott (or our LUKE):

" * On June 29, Scott Patterson accepted a position on Aliens in America as the father, Gary Tolchuk
* CW and SP’s people cleared all misunderstandings, as they were, last week and were able to come to negotiations on this matter
* Lots of things were decontextualized and misunderstood on both sides, but things are now totally fine
* The CW has nothing but respect for Scott Patterson and did not mean for anything to be misrepresented as otherwise
* Scott Patterson was more than happy to audition, once he cleared things up, in order to give the creative team his take on the character
* Scott Patterson picked Aliens in America as the new CW show he wanted to be a part of (with his contract, he was guaranteed one). He is very much looking forward to working with this creative team. He thinks the show is exciting and has a lot of potential.
* Scott Patterson was never angry nor upset at the CW, although there were misunderstandings

So, I am very relieved that everything is ok and that most of what was reported was simply a series of misunderstandings all around. I am truly excited that we’ll be seeing Scott Patterson back on tv this fall - every Monday at 8:30pm. Mark your calendars!! I’ll bring you more info on the show next week."

TGIF at last

Nothing much has been going on lately. I just joined the OLC so hey to all you OLC girls on here. I just read "Lean Mean 13" about my girl Stephanie Plum and it was awesome as usual. Have an arena football game to watch tomorrow + taking my daughter to a week late birthday lunch. Other than that same old, same old... Oh yeah and hooking up my new laptop computer!!

Mondays and other ramblings

I HATE MONDAYS!!! With that being said I will ramble on.

I wonder a lot of things like how come it's semi-acceptable for hollywood types to cheat and hook-up with other people (well semi-acceptable if the person who cheats is well liked) but us lower mortals would be shunned and stoned? Not that I'm cheating or anything but the guy that is my soul-mate is not my husband and he is single now and I'm not so what the hell is a girl to do? Sometimes I wish I hadn't been born in the bible belt and just lived with guys until Mr soulmate showed up that way I wouldn't be married now cause this guy is so not my soulmate. (barely compatible at times cause he has turned off all the pre-marriage chraming stuff and became stodgy ole man)

Anyway.. I needed to get that off my chest somewhere and here worked.
