Priestly in Ten Inch Hero

So, this picture of Jensen Ackles (from Supernatural) in his new movie, Ten Inch Hero - photo from their site, teninchhero.com, please go visit and give them love and support, etc.).

Hot, or not?

My answer is "Hot, but with reservations." The eyeliner is super hot. As are the piercings. Jensen + piercings + eyeliner = OT3. Oh, and the black nail polish. For some reason, his hand looks really hot in that picture. It could just be the tampons, though.

The hair is...not as fabulous as it could have been. I realize that there probably wasn't time between this and when Supernatural started shooting again, but it would have been infinitely cooler if he had shaved his head and had a true mohawk. The blue is nice, though. So colorful. Dare I say, cheerful? I guess I don't dare.

Also, the facial hair is weird. Well, the sideburns, I guess. I don't know, I hated them at first, but now they're sort of growing on me. Not, like, literally, because that would just be gross.

The tampons, however, are love. I should make a "Tampons are Love" colorbar for my LJ. Oh yes.

And where are all the "ten inch hero" jokes, anyway? "I'd like a piece of his ten inch hero" and "he can stuff my sandwich all night long" sort of things.

Damn, girl, why you gottta be such a ragin' bitch?

WHY is it that reality TV brings out the worst in women? Reality TV is a guilty pleasure for me, akin to sneaking in a full-fat frappuccino (with whipped cream!) every once in a while, or buying a pair of shoes that I know I'll only wear once or twice because they're so damned cute. However, I really hate that most shows are a playground for the worst sort of catty, bitchy behavior that just perpetuates the stereotype of women as vapid Barbie dolls who only care about clothes and men.

That's not to say that I don't get my own catty sort of enjoyment watching when a bunch of stupid people act...well, stupidly. I'm not a TOTAL hypocrite. But still, it would be great if there were more women who used some of these opportunities to, I don't know, make friends are something. Empower others. You can still compete and be friendly. That's an overriding credo for me...I really, truly believe that women should, in general, be friends. I don't feel the need to compete with other women just because they're women. Sure, if I'm competing for a promotion or something, but overall, I don't view a group of women as my potential enemies or competition for men. There's plenty to go around, girls.
