missing: reward for recaps!

Darling readers:

If you've been wondering where recaps for The Hills, Lipstick Jungle, and Pushing Daisies have been, wonder no more: they've been stuck in my head for the last three weeks.

You have my word that they will be up this weekend, come hell or high water or whatever other urgen thing starts with the letter H.

Though not Halloween. That's much too far away. And even though weather this weekend in Chicago is supposed to be gorgeous and summer-like and whatever, I am totes going to stay in and write write write. And in the case of LJ, actually watch. Those eps have been sitting, ever patiently, on my DVR while I blithely watch old episodes of "Barefoot Contessa" and "The West Wing".

My goal is to have all back recaps posted. Yes, even the last three eps of "The Cho Show" though my interest in it waned pretty freakin' hard after the pilot. But such is life. If Margaret and Kathy Griffin ever want to put their heads together and come up with a show that isn't derivative but actually, you know, funny, I would be very pleased to cover that.

Overdosin', dinner workin', salary disputin'

No, I haven't watched this week's episode of "The Hills" yet, so no spoilers! I'll watch/recap tonight. In the meantime, you can amuse yourself with:

Heidi released an 80's-tastic video for her latest single, "Overdosin'". Why is this video 10 minutes long when the song itself is only about three minutes long? Was it supposed to look this low budget? [Socialite Life]
Apparently, last night's ep featured a working dinner for People's Revolution at Sofitel LA. You know that means Whitney! Woot! I bet Kelly was super bitchy to somebody at the meal. Was it Whitney, or another hapless lackey? [HotelChatter]
We found out how much cast members of "The Hills" make. Lauren leads the list at $75k per episode, while Heidi and Spencer each bring in $65k (I guess that Hermess Kelly bag we saw last week wasn't a fake).

Sigh. Season 4 of The Hills premieres tonight. My recap will be up some time Tuesday evening. Until it goes up, catch up here. Sheesh.
