making fun of Hollywood celebrities
Back in the old days of Hollywood, people used to gawk at and admire movie stars, for they were the icons who dictated fashion, style, beauty and attitude.
Today we like to make fun of Hollywood celebrities and criticize their choice of clothing and we come up with vicious nicknames for them to express our hatred/disdain for them. Plus, let's not forget the fact that many "actors" today really can't act for shit, much less break into tears onscreen.
Bette Davis or Lindsay Lohan?
Clara Bow or Pamela Anderson?

Young Hollywood
I have to agree that not all young actors today are worth comparing to the greats of yester year but there are a few up and coming stars. Shia LeBeouf is a definite rising star. His acting is far beyond his young years. Another star to watch for is Kristen Stewart who is currently starring in "In the Land of Women". I recently saw her in "Speak" on Lifetime and her performance is riviting, and from all reports I hear she steals her most recent film. I think that you have to look for the gold in actors. Not all old movie actors were awesome either.
