Being that I am sick I have had alot of time to sit around and watch really shitty tv shows all day long (and blog about them), like VH1's, The Pickup Artist. Has anyone else seen this show? Here is the summary of the show....

"Eight socially challenged men move in together to compete for the title of Master Pick-Up Artist using skills learned from best-selling author Mystery, a social misfit turned seducer extraordinaire. Along with wingmen Matador and J Dog, Mystery will teach contestants the Mystery Method of turning on the charm to make dream women into realities."

Basically, Mystery and his two asshats (more on them later) try to teach a group of loser guys to be studs, or rather their perception of studs. If this fucking tool tried to pick me up I would probably throw a drink in his face and tell him to get lost. The shit this guy talks about is unreal.

First, his name is "Mystery", really? That is your name? Well to me, it is a mystery as to why you have your own show. I mean come on, he wears more eyeliner, excuse me, guyliner, than me. If a guy wears more makeup then me it is a no-go. Let's add that he wears a big stupid FUZZY hat (I think Pamela Anderson wore the same one in pink at some point) with goggles on his head, has a kiss tattoo (as in red lips, not the band) on his neck, and he speaks in some kind of weird pseudo-Zen Master code. And let's talk about Matador and J Dog for a minute. Where do these people get their names from? J-Dog, I sense a bit of an accent so I can only assume that you don't know that making your head look like a fucking skunk isn't cool her in the US. Seriously, this is probably the biggest bunch of tools I have ever seen. I would not give any of them the time of day.

The very best part of this show is the "lingo" this toolbox uses. Here, an example....

Best one?
A "neg" is an insult or a backhanded compliment to "knock a girl off her pedestal" so she'll be more receptive to his advances. Basically, he insults a hot chick so she'll think you don't like her. She'll wonder why, since everyone likes her, and she'll be intrigued.

Bottom line, this show is like a car crash, painful to watch, but you can't help but look.
