This one’s “A Deep Fried Korean Thanksgiving”… always a fun time.

1) Lorelai tries to get Sookie to calm down and stop scaring the kitchen staff… I’d be really scared. Emily just happens to show up behind Lorelai, and I’m surprised someone would let her into the kitchen… Emily forces Lorelai into showing up to Thanksgiving. I feel bad for Lorelai, a second year in a row sans apple tarts!
2) Paris freaks because everyone has all the volunteers they need to serve food on Thanksgiving. Then she becomes dictator with Madeline and Louise’s college applications… and I had all mine in really early so I could get it all over with.
3) Rory and Lorelai meet up with Kirk, who has just gotten a cat he named Kirk. Which would be really confusing, as Lorelai and Rory point out! Poor cat, being named after Kirk…
4) Luke finds out that Thanksgiving is a no go, and seems to be really disappointed about it. Lorelai rigs it so she tries to make him feel better by attending. Luke is great, he’d miss Lorelai. A lot. Because he’s in love with her!
5) Rory meets up with Jess and feels the need to be secretive about their relationship… for fear of rubbing it in Dean’s face. Jess, being Jess, doesn’t care, and tries to convince her how insane she’s being. Meanwhile, Lorelai awkwardly talks to Dean, letting him know she’s not going to purposely avoid him. Lots of awkwardness.
6) Lorelai and Rory go to Lane’s, then see Dave there… and they even eat tofurkey! Is there such a thing? Tofurkey? I’ve never had tofu, but turkey’s not bad. Lane put up fliers in church to get her mother to hire Dave… smart. Very smart.
7) Sookie’s in distress because Jackson plans to deep fry the turkey, another thing I’ve never heard of. Sounds kind of gross.
8) Lorelai and Rory show up at Luke’s (meal number 3), and Luke and Lorelai banter about the flowers. While they wait for Luke to get back, Kirk, Morey, and Babette add to the saga of Cat Kirk. Cat Kirk sounds more insane than my own cats. Luke returns, they briefly eat, and Luke goes to get marshmallows… and little does he know Lorelai’s shamelessly stealing off of Luke’s plate.
9) The Gilmore Thanksgiving Dinner turns ugly, after lots of amusing French jokes… Lorelai and the Gilmores argue over Rory’s application to Yale. It’s all just a big ugly mess. Although the Lady Marmalade joke was really funny because I got it. Haha, the only French I know, too!
10) “This Bible belongs to God, but is being used by Dave Rygalski”… so funny! I cracked up at that part.
11) Lorelai and Rory show up at Luke’s one more time, after talking to drunk Sookie, and Rory finally really kisses Jess. Dean and Jess talk, aggressively, and Dean and Jess seem to be switching roles. Jess is now not fighting. Interesting twist. Luke gives Rory and Lorelai the extra rolls he had saved!
