First of all, I absolutely hated that Mia had to apologize for a jacket she was wearing, that she knew nothing about because a logo was upside down. That is pure garbage. Big deal. I'm in the military and if I see someone wearing something wrong, I laugh to myself that they don't know what they are doing....but that's just me.
The Wade Robson anti-war thing was silly...the guy is 24 years old and has political ideas commensurate with his age. That Nigel went into a rambling 5 minute disclaimer shows me that there are some overly sensitive people out there that have too much time on their hands wondering if Wade is taking shots at the troops (he wasn't). I think the producers might have dropped the ball a little by not realizing the poop storm they were going to ignite by trying something like this on national tv, but whatever, I was more annoyed that I saw the same dance 10 times in an hour....nuff said.

In case you'all didn't know, Cameron and Jaime got sent off last night and I felt a little bad about Jaime, because her partner was the bad part of her dance 2 nights ago and he's still around, but that's what happens when "america" has they're chance to eliminate kids (conspiracy theories not withstanding) I felt like the right dancers were in the bottom 4, but maybe Cameron should have gone home next week instead of this week. The Powers that Be need to make sure that Dominic doesn't get hip-hop next week, or he is going to be close to the finals. I am still sticking with Sara and Neil as my 2 faves, I really hated Lauren's solo last night and I think she and either Dominic or Danny are the next to go.

Here are my rankings for what's left:
Guys:
Neil - All things considered, the best male dancer left in the competition. The guy has hops and can dance most every style.
Pasha - Great ballroom dancer, although I liked Dmitry more last year....his partnering skills keep him above Danny.
Danny - As I've said before, the dude is a beautiful dancer, he has EXCELLENT lines and can dance the hell out of a contemporary/jazz number. My opinion only, the guy is way to swishy to sell dancing with a girl....again, not saying that he's a bad dancer, just saying that he doesn't mesh with what it seems that is a big part of the show.
Dominic - The guy got this far with no formal dance training (I still don't believe hs has no training...his lines are too straight), there's something to be said about that, but honestly, even if he's had SOME training, he's still in waaaaay over his head.

The Girls:
Sara - A "B" girl with formal training...who would a thunk it. She is very good and is my favorite dancer on the show. She has a pleasant look and really hasn't had a bad week.
Lacey - The elephant in the room that nobody talks about. I hated her brother last year, I always felt like everything he ever did was contrived and his sister is taking the same road, going waaaaaay over the top with everything. Like I said yesterday, she is just trying too hard...it bugs me. And she's not fooling anyone with the slut act either.
Sabra - I've said it before, I call bullpuckey on the 4 years of training thing. There is no way that someone can be that polished and have that little experience. There are too many building blocks that you have to set before you can even attempt to dance to something complex like a Mia Michaels, Wade Robson or a Tyce Diorio choreographed number and this girl is not missing a beat. i don't know what the real story is, but I know she has been dancing more than 4 years unless she is some kind of genius.
Lauren - She is probably the best looking girl left, but I hated her solo last night and I really have never thought that she was one of the top 5, but here she is. She will be gone this next week.
P.S. The Band on the show last night...the one with the wannabe Mick Jagger lead singer....was fecking awful.

You know, it's a real shame that music right now sucks as bad as it does. I will tell you this, I hear a lot of artists crying about how D/Ling tracks has hurt their cash flow, but you know what? Waaaah...I don't care. Now the consumer has control. If they only want to buy one track, that's all they get. People like me can sample a record before I buy it now and I won't lose my shorts buying a record that has 1 good track on it. I say this to any artist who wants to cry: Get over it, you get to do what most of us can only dream of and now you have to actually tour to make money...piddy poo.

I am going to pimp a movie here and I hope everyone goes out and buys the DVD when it comes out....Hot Fuzz. That movie has everything. It's by the same braintrust that brought you Shaun of the Dead and it is flat out brilliant. Watch the movie, rent it, steal it, do whatever you have to do. It's a solid 4 star movie with me.

Well, I have to get back to work, but I thought I'd throw a few things out there...discuss.
