Doctor Who Planet of the Ood!!!  Spoilers!

Just finished watching it and HELLO this was excellent.  I seriously got sucked into this one.  All I could think about was “I have to touch an Ood head.”

I’m so loving the Donna/Doctor relationship, they are just so cute and happy together.  It’s nice to see Ten relaxed, I imagine having a companion who is not madly in love with him helps.  I love Donna so much, I love how she was wearing no sleeves and kept saying, “It’s cold.” And what’s up with the Doctor not offering his coat?!  Damn dude it’s not like you have to worry about dying from a cold or anything. 

I love Donna’s reaction to finding the first Ood.  I love how she was trying to talk to him and offer comfort.  She really is lovely.

“We’re not married, never ever!”  Wasn’t it Ten who said “Never say never ever?” Sorry Donna you’re going to find yourself married to a Time Lord and forced to mate with the long strip of nothing in the near future.  I’m putting money on it.

Once again Donna is put in peril and she proves that she can handle herself and I love Ten’s remark about letting her the hell out of that container or they are going to be sorry.  And a hug!  Awe…

Donna is very much ready to take up the cause isn’t she?  Free the Ood!  I hate to keep saying it, but I love that Donna just fires right back at Ten when he makes his rather smart ass observations about her world.  And she keeps on calling him Spaceman.  I think he rather digs it though, I saw that little smile.

The scene with the normal Ood just broke my heart.  They are so scared looking, crouching and huddling.  I thought it was a great moment with Ten and Donna as he does his Time Lord Vulcan Jedi Mind Meld Power Trip on her.  I thought it was very…human of Donna to demand that he take the music away from her and her whispered “I want to go home.”  Ten doesn’t scold her or talk down to her for her words, “It’s okay.”

Holding their brains in their hands.  I have to admit this freaked me out and then bothered me.  I could never be an Ood, I drop things.  The dude becoming and Ood?  I was doing good until he barfed out his brain.  But I liked that!  I like being shocked and freaked out by this stuff. 

The Ood speaking of the Doctor’s song soon ending…..I’ve already read a few, a VERY few things of what this might mean.  And I already agree with a few of them because my first thought was Rose.  I figure his song has been one of grief and soon his song will end once she comes back.  I’m sure it’s going to mean something else entirely and my little heart is going to break.  But let me live in my fantasy land for a while.

I hate to say it, I really do because I’m not a blood thirsty woman, however most of the people who bought in the episode deserved it. 

Darling David was great as always and how many times do you think he was caught with his hands on an Ood head?  We all know he loves him some Ood head.  Twenty bucks says he’s stolen one from the make-up truck and has it in his living room.  I can see him sitting there stroking his head, the Ood head!  The Ood head!

Catherine Tate has the prettiest hair!  I loved it in this.  Then again I think she’s lovely anyway.  And I want that coat!  I love how she dresses.  I was always wanting Rose’s clothing but now I’m really wanting Donna’s threads.

Great episode, for some reason I thought this was going to be a two part episode.  Yay for surprises!
