New Doctor Who Spoilers! Silence in the Library

Oh god my brain hurts!

Silence in the Library

*blinks*I have no words.  Literally no words.  I didn’t hate this, but I’m so freaking confused I have no idea what the frack is going on.

First off, I want to go to this planet!  A planet that’s a freaking library how great is that?  I’d spend my life just sitting and reading and getting fat.  Loved that Ten wouldn’t let Donna read any of the books.  “Spoilers!”  I noticed that the word was used a good amount during this episode.  Clearly the writers are trying to tell us something, but I can’t see to crack this code.

The little girl is too cute for words and I just have to say her expression at the end when she’s told that everyone is depending on her to save them.  Priceless.  For some reason and call me crazy but I had a bit of a Matrix flashback with her world and the nightmare world.

I’m not a person who’s thrilled with dark spaces so parts of this actually bothered me a bit.  Don’t laugh!

Okay I’ll talk about her now.  River Song.  Who the hell is she?!  I have thoughts, theories and ponderings on who she might be.  Even though I only know Classic Who from my dear co-worker, my first thought was that River Song is Romana (did I spell that right?).  I loved how she called Ten Pretty Boy.  And hey the notebook looks like the Tardis!  I swear the writers are trying to tell us something here.

I’m perfectly okay with her being the Doctor’s wife at the stage of the show.  Clearly she knows something and look at her sonic screwdriver!  That thing has more rust on it than a Ford Pinto!  It’s freaking old.

Donna my god she’s a great girl.  She goes out of her way to make the dumbest person feel cared for.  And every time Donna cries I find myself crying.

I’ve now changed my mind about River Song, I think she’s evil.  She refuses to tell Ten anything, I know timey whimey wibbly wobbly stuff.  Who cares?  She’s being a bit too careful if you ask me.  And I didn’t like it when she realized who Donna was.  Do we see a spark of jealousy from our red headed girl?  I think we do.

GACK!  I seriously can’t wrap my brain around all this.  I really liked it though, I’ve seen a few people have expressed a hatred and dislike for this one already.  Not me, any Who is better than no Who so I’m not going to bitch.

I noticed a few things that struck me as similar.  The Doctor tricking Donna onto the transport so he could get her onto the Tardis.  Reminds me of another time he had to do that, with another girl. Donna being stuck in that statue thing repeating the same words over and over and Ten heartbroken when he saw her.  Um…Rose stuck in the telly?

The Daleks and Tater Head Aliens were mentioned for no real reason.  Or maybe it was just talk.  Okay I’m done now.  Sorry for the unorganized babble.
