I say you can never go wrong with anything written by David or Amy Sedaris, but you have to be into more off-the-wall humor. I read "Eat.Pray.Love" (Kind of Anne Lamott Lite)last month and really dug it..."Life of Pi" is my other big one.
Mary Higgins Clark

I just finished Two Little Girls in Blue by Mary Higgins Clark and before that I read Lucky by Alice Sebold. They were both terrific !!!!! Does anyone else read Mary Higgins Clark?
Kathy Reichs and Dodie Smith

I just finished Cross Bones and Monday Mourning by Kathy Reichs, and they're pretty good, if somewhat filler-y in certain parts. I Capture the Castle by Dodie Smith is always one I recommend, if you like depressing love stories.
recent reads I loved

King Dork
Special Topics in Calamity Physics
Everything is Illuminated
"Tuesday Next" series by Jasper Fforde
And I will always recommend anything by Tom Robbins, John Irving, or Jane Austen.
If you're looking for something serious...

I'm in the middle of Stolen Lives: Twenty Years in a Desert Jail by Malika Oufkir. It's sad but awesome.
I'm a total sucker for...

I love Nicholas Sparks Books. "A Bend in the Road" is a good one, kind of a mystery/love story... and I also love a classic one, "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen.

Thanks for all the help now

Thanks for all the help now I am having a hard time choosing what I read next

Well....
It depends on what you are in the mood for. If you feel like some conforting chic lit, then I suggest anything by Clare Naylor. "Love: A User's Guide" is one of my favorite girly reads. Otherwise revist an old classic. "To Kill A Mockingbird" is one of the best books ever written.
