Designer Duel: Karl Lagerfeld Versus Donatella Versace

The cropped gloves are off. Who has the goods when it comes to designing? Discuss who you would choose if you were forced to wear an entire line for one season. Lagerfeld for Chanel or Donatella's Versace creations?

that's a tough one. i like certain items from each, but i would have to go with versace...classic but with a bit of oomph...

I agree the thought of damning myself to Karl frightens me!I am not sure if I could deal with knowing that at any moment I might be doomed to a Karl attempt at reinvention.

Donatella's just one big mess, and while Karl does have his own quirks, his designs are much more consistent season to season.
