Is Bravo To Blame?Submitted by Cara on Wed, 2007-08-08 09:05. Last Login: Fri Nov 23 2007 15:18 GMT |
A slew of reality tv winners are pissed at Bravo for their lack of careers after their stints on "Project Runway." Is Bravo to blame for the lack of career?

I hate to sound trite, but life is what you make it. And if you choose to squander a platform that practically hands you a career, that is your choice. As my 2nd grade teacher always pounded into our heads... "You can point your finger at anyone for blame, but three of those finger point back at you." It really made very little sense, but hey she was a 2nd grade teacher in a room full of brats.
15 min is enough

They are competing for a prize right not a career so they should just be happy they got their 15 minutes
Bah, If they can't Parlay their 15 mins....

It's really their own damn fault.
PR is my favorite reality show after AI and SYTYCD. The characters they get on there are always fantastic. You can't write comedy like Vincent from last season...honestly.
Top Chef has a great format, with the one agent provacateur, but the show usually dies when he gets eliminated....although last season, Marcel was there til the end.

Uhh no
I don't think anyone is to blam but themselves. I mean you go on a shop to become famous some do some don't. I bet the are more famous now and have more of a career then they did before the show. I have heard several reality winners complain about prizes and outcomes. I am just saying that if they read all the fine print before the sign their lives away to be on said show then they would know exactly what they are getting into. Nothing is free in life so even if you win a reality show you still need to work hard to make sure that "reality career" lasts in real life
