For pure cinematic bloody fun - you must see Grindhouse. The chases, the guns, the fisticuffs, the crazy coots, the explosions, decapitation, lopped limbs, bullets and sexy women keep popping up and most of the time it's surprising, such as when Rose McGowan, a machine gun strapped to her lost leg, mows down a passel of diseased people who want - no, not her body - her blood. Then there's the slam-bang car chase, which is the best since "The French Connection," although one that could have stopped short of its running time.
