Gilmore Girls was on last night. After the Rocky beginning (thanks to Amy leaving us that crappy mess) they finally felt like the girls of old. I love the Luke/Taylor fight, I loved the town meeting, I loved the Kirkyness. It was Gilmore Girls. Now if they just give us a Season 8 to tie things up it will all be good.

But last night's was a step back for me. They don't get out of scenes fast enough, and the act-outs can be so bizarre. I'm still missing the Sherman-Palladinos.
Drag time

I think some of the drag was to show us how "polite" Lor & Luke were being to each other, not themselves at all and they needed that to let us really enjoy when the gloves came off and they were back to almost normal. I think that given a season 8 and 13 more episodes they could really get us back to them!
Awkwardness...

I think it was to demonstrate that even if we think that they have been seperated for too long, and that they should just get back together already, that Luke and Lorelai can't quite say, "I'm sorry," and have it back the way it was. Even if we want them to pull it together. I might be reading too much into it, though.

Heard it was good..
I haven't watched the episode yet (my trusty VCR has it taped for me), but I keep hearing really awesome things about it. I'll have to watch it really soon - since I miss the girls.
