I agree that I can't see

I agree that I can't see Pushing Daisies lasting, although it seems to be getting the biggest early buzz so far. Some critics are already calling it the new Lost. It makes me feel kinda sorry for the current Lost's producers who are probably like, "Um...hi? We're still on the air, you know." Heh.
Honestly, there's not a whole lot in the new crop of shows that appeal to me so far. They're either so bizarre that they're headed for early cancelation (Viva Laughlin) or they're retreads of previously failed shows (Chuck = Jake 2.0 except without the adorkable Chris Gorham) or they simply sound boring. Hopefully once pilots start leaking over the summer I'll find a couple I'm interested in but right now my reaction to the upfronts is "Meh."

Pushing Daisies
I've read the info on Pushing Daisies and although the concept sounds fun, I can't see it lasting. The concept that completely dooms the main ship from the start? Think of other shows that base the main character's personality on a lost love? They never work. It sounds like it would've made a fun film though.
