Any other GH fans around here? I've been watching since the Robert/Anna and Frisco/Felicia days, although I took a break for a few years when Original Recipe Carly, Sarah Brown, left the show. I got back into it a little bit last summer with the Georgie/Dillon/Lulu triangle and then became permanently hooked again when Genie Francis came back briefly last November. There are a lot of things I don't like about GH (pretty much anything to do with Sonny and the mob follies, which is, like, 75% of the show) but here's what I do like these days:

- Robin and Patrick. I love Scrubs. Robin is my current favorite GH heroine (my previous fave was, fittingly, her mother, Anna) and I love her relationship with Patrick, although their current storyline is breaking my heart. Kimberly McCullough and Jason Thompson have amazing chemistry.

- Spinelli. Bradford Anderson is the best new cast addition since the aforementioned Jason Thompson joined the show. Spinelli is quirky and endearing and such a breath of fresh air on a genre mostly populated by bland pretty people. He's also made me like scenes with Jason and I didn't think that was possible. Heh.

- Maxie. She's what Carly used to be, a bad girl with self-awareness about her misdeeds and enough vulnerability to keep her sympathetic. Also, she and Cooper are too adorable for words.

- Mr. Craig. Yes, he's evil. Yes, he shot Robin, which should make me hate him forever. I don't. I think he's awesome and sexy and charismatic, and I love him with Alexis and Kristina. I read earlier today that Sebastian Roche signed a contract, which means Mr. Craig will be around for a while. Hooray!

So, those are my big favorites right now. I enjoy a few other characters/storylines here and there but I mostly fast forward through everything that doesn't involve those four above.

I can't believe I'm admitting this, but I'm a total soaps fan. I DVR that shit. What do you need to know to get caught back up?

I followed the same track as you. I was the gayest kid ever, as I was obsessed with Finola Hughes as Anna Devane Lavery. And I still tape it to this day. And you're right, enough of the mob. Get back to the spy/karate stuff I used to love. And someone off Sam. Jesus, I can't stand her. Whiny wench!

Anyway, I feel like I'm admitting a shameful addiction but I'm a total soaps whore.

I just watched today's GH and I want Logan to go die in a fire or something equally horrible. Are we really supposed to think he is the endgame guy for Lulu? Bitches, PLEASE. *cuddles poor Spinelli*

I am! SoapNet sneakily aired it at 5:00 am this morning (I think to be eligible for the Daytime Emmys next year) and I DVRed it. I'm going to watch it in a few minutes. I can't wait! A show centered around Patrick and Robin? Plus, no Sonny, Carly, Sam and Elizabeth? Oh, and more Spinelli, too! AWESOME. :D
