So now that I have exhausted my DVDs past season, it is about time for some new Lost episodes!

Has anyone heard much on it yet? Is it supposed to be better than last season?

Sure, someone has something to say about last night.

Like, um, who's funeral was it?!

Lost - "D.O.C."

So has the show finally done it and blown it? In the beginning, the showrunners deliberately danced the line with strange occurrances that they claimed straddled the line of "maybe they're supernatural, maybe there's a logical explanation". With the reveal to Hurley from Naomi of what the world saw as the fate of 815, has the show committed? To a supernatural explanation? Is there anyway that this show can have a logical explanation and still satisfy fans? Does committing to a supernatural explanation allow them to just do whatever the hell they want without real justification?

Lost's Episode Won't Have Any Flashbacks (sort of)

This is from the TV Guide Website .

Lost is about to go somewhere it never has before: two steps forward, no steps back. Per AintItCoolNews.com, Episode 19 will be 100 percent flashback-free. The hour, says the website's mole, "focuses on one of Season 1's ‘mysteries’ — if that's the right word.”

UPDATE: A source at ABC has since whispered to TVGuide.com, "Although the episode doesn't have a traditional flashback, the flashback device is still used." Hmmm....

For the record, the flashback lineup for the season's remaining eps is as follows:

• No. 17: Desmond
• No. 18: Jin and Sun
• No. 19: Nontraditional flashback time
• No. 20: Benjamin
• No. 21: Charlie
• And the two-part season finale: Jack, natch

Lost - "One of Us"

For pretty much the first time this season, I feel like Lost is returning to form. Well, to season two form at least. Between the mini-season at the beginning that was nothing but Others nonsense, through the wonderful Jack's tattoo eppy, I was losing all hope of this show ever being truly enjoyable again. But at least after last night, we have some intrigue and some mystery. Lots of questions were answered, bigger ones were opened up, and they used the classic Hitchcock method of building suspense by giving the viewer lots of information that the other characters don't have.

My only real question is (thus the poll - and the three points) is who is Juliet really betraying? The whole episode seemed to show how dissatisfied she was with the Others and with Ben, but at the end she's acting evil and deceitful on their behalf. So what's the deal?

http://www.famesters.com/polls/whose_side_is_juliet_really_on

Flashback theory.

I'm surprised nobody posted here in the L O S T forum yet. Here's my personal pet theory.

The experiments of Dharma still continue and the survivors, the others, everyone is still a part of it. They were never in a plane crash as they never would have survived that kind of fall. They were placed on the island with the wreckage of an airplane, and here is the important part, with implanted false memories. Every flashback that we have seen is false. Locke could always walk, they've only told Kate she's a criminal, they've told Jack he's a hero. They wanted to find out if these people would act the way they really are or the way they are told that they are.

I think it's the only thing that can possibly begin to explain things in the flashback's such as crossing paths, the reoccurrance of the numbers, whatever that was with Desmond, etc etc.

What's happening currently on the island? Beats me.
