Gilmore Girls TV Movie Coming?

TV Guide columnist Michael Ausiello caught up with "Gilmore" girls creator Amy Sherman, who dropped a big one for fans of the show. Here's a clip:

In the next year or two, she hopes to make — wait for it — a two-hour Gilmore Girls TV-movie that ties up all those loose threads! ... "She said what?" gasped Scott Patterson after I relayed the information to him over the phone. "I didn't think she would be interested in doing something like that. But if she says she is, I would seriously consider it." Alexis Bledel was equally stunned. "A Gilmore Girls reunion?" she said with a laugh. "That's certainly not something I had thought of doing. That's really funny, I have no idea how I would feel in a few years. I don't know, I'm sure the script Amy would write would be great, but I guess I'd have to read it and see how I felt at the time." Last but not least, Lauren Graham e-mailed me late last night to say, "Could be a fun idea if everyone wanted to do it. I would do it just to get the four final words out of Amy. They torture me."

Ole Papa Winchester will be making an appearance in the Supernatural finale. Will it be a ghost? Will he be back to life? Who knows?

Say goodbye to Stars Hollow -- "Gilmore Girls" is officially over. Get out your kleenex.

In a statement to TMZ, the CW and Warner Bros. Television says it is "a truly sad moment for everyone" and promises to "give this series the send-off it deserves."

Sources tell TMZ that there were ongoing negotiations with the suits and the actresses in an effort to bring the show back for another season, but they were unable to seal the deal.

The final episode of the show, which launched the careers of Alexis Bledel and "Heroes" star Milo Ventimiglia, airs May 15th.

Oh my god. This show is so redicalic. I can not get enough. I'm totally rooting for Natasha and Dionne. Dionne's pics really weren't as bad as the judges made them out to be, but I fear she may be the next to go. I hate hate hate Renee and don't even think she looks like a model. She is so boring. I see a million girls who look like her every day. Natasha is the light of my life! Jaslene is cute and she does take good pics, but her voice make me want to vomit. I was soo sooo soo soso glad Brittney was gone. She was soo self-satisfied and whiney. Her fit was hilarious...and no one wanted to book her hahah. Can't wait for next weeks episode...Renee try's to start a plot to out Natasha from the house. Bitch better back off, I'm gonna cut her.

According to our buddy Ausseillo:

Although all indications were that Warner Bros. and the CW were nearing a deal to bring Gilmore Girls back for a shortened eighth season, sources close to the negotiations now tell me that talks are at a complete [Gulp] standstill.

"It’s anybody’s guess what’s going to happen," reports my Gilmore mole. "There’s no deal in place at this point, and there may never be. This is probably going to come down to the wire."

The holdup can be summed up in five words: Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel. According to the insider, "very good" offers were made to both actresses, but it apparently wasn’t enough to coax signatures out of them. "Now it’s a game of chess," whispers the spy. "It could go either way."

Further complicating matters is the fact that the CW’s upfront presentation — the unoffical deadline for a deal to be brokered — is scheduled for May 17. What’s so complicated about that, you ask? Well, that’s two days after the show’s potential swan song airs. In other words, if negotiations literally go down to the wire, we won’t know if we’re watching the season or series finale.

Bottom Line: This kind of uncertainty sucks for everyone!

New episodes of One Tree Hill start back on May 2nd. Please check out my past and future recaps of One Tree Hill. Until then though I thought I'd tell you the one spoiler that I know of and maybe it is already common knowledge. Don't read any further if you don't want to know the spoiler.

Lucas is finally starting to figure out the real deal behind Keith's death. The real deal being that Dan shot and killed Keith. Lucas will remember that Mouth was in the hallway and had to have seen what happened. Mouth saw Dan shoot Keith. What I can't figure out is why Mouth hasn't come forward yet or why he didn't right away. It will definitely put a strain on Lucas and Mouth's friendship, I think.
