About Me:
Theoriginalspy, or “Spy” for short, was born...somewhere in Canada. As Canada is the world’s second largest country, she feels that is a safe enough detail to give out. Plus, there is also a lot of wilderness in which to take cover. Due to her nationality, she peppers (she prefers salt, but oregano is also nice) her writings with words like “theatre” and is guilty of using “eh” in a recap. She enjoys the internet as it allows her to remain anonymous. (Anonymous, a word which here means: her parents were nice enough to give her a reasonable name.)Previously, she was a dedicated recapper for Fandom Talk, but since the sad demise of the recaps there, has happily moved over to Recapist. In fact, without Recapist, she can't justify repeated viewings of the Numb3rs "eppesodes," and intense study of Doctor Who and Torchwood without people thinking her odd. Not that people don't already think she's odd. The whole writing about herself in third person is a bit strange. Currently, she is plotting to get herself her own shout out on Numb3rs. If the writers will throw in a reference to the SDKG, then she's hoping they might make a similar gesture to a dedicated recapper. She doesn't care if they name a dog / arch villain waging war through the internet / architecturally hideous building after her. She'd take anything. Although, considering the recent spoilers about her favourite guest character, she's really happy with her favourite show right now. After the purchase of her first house, Spy has discovered whole new levels of poverty; levels she was unaware existed, even when she was eating pot noodles in grad school. She's a Pastafarian, believes in the gospel of truthiness and worships at the alter of popular culture. She intends to keep it that way. Recent Posts
